This mount interfaces with the plastic base plate included with the camera itself via three M3 screws and two nuts. The semi-circular slot on the base allows for the camera to be rotated slightly to either side of perpendicular to get a better viewing angle. 

Tips

• Ensure that the rotate video option is enabled for the camera within the Ring app to invert the image since the camera is mounted upside down.
• Ensure that the night vision IR light option is disabled for the camera within the Ring app to prevent excessive glare when recording through a window.
