Egg Box Six Pack

Some time ago, I bought an egg box on Aliexpress, 24 packs model. Neither cheap nor expensive. Problem with Chinese box is that it is always at the bottom of the refridgerator's shelf (as one of my pictures shows). All other tings used to be placed onto this box. When you need some eggs, you have first to remove everithing sitting above the egg box, to pick up some eggs. An another problem occured several times: we got some eggs chrashed, because egg lid is large and too soft.

To solve annoying problems, I decided to design mig own eggbox, which could be stacked onto each other. I designed 6 pack box. For my need I printed four complete boxes, for 24 eggs. Now, when we need some eggs, just pick up upper box, open it and take eggs. Empty boxes could be removed from the fridge to free some space.

I put a last date indicator which is optional to print, but very practical to have, always knowing when it's expiration date of the box content. This indicator is placed on the box' lid, as well as four stack frames.

The dial and the pointer is sliced with colour brake. A bit of filament is used as part of the box' hinge. Short bits of filament is used to help glue: dial and stack frame into the place. I used quick glue to permanentli mount these details on it's places.

Eggs should be placed with the pointed part down, for the best shelf life.
