Modelo 3D MK4 Raspberry Pi Cam Rack & Mount por Tritschi no Printables

Descrição

Recently equipped with Octoprint my MK4 needed a functional and nice attachment for the Raspi-Cam.

Got a Thingiverse cam-holder where I needed to fix hole pattern and clip function to close the lid.

I designed this holder quite modular, for easy attachment, easy printing and easy adjusment. That's the reason why there are severam parts and several different fasteners. But everything printed smoothly and seamless without any support and major rework. Which is worthwhile a lot!

  1. The holder (hex-pattern) constists of the main holder, I printed this in two colors on my MK3, another printer with filamentchange would also work. The left "wedge" I glued and screwed with selftapping Torx T10. PETG.
  2. The main stand (black hex) I printed on MK4 in PLA as I printed with my two Prusas simultaneously. A M3 heat insert was melted in for the adjustment screw (M3x10), a knurled-nut-part may be added, but I do not adjust the setup that often, so I am happy with the M3 screw, which is not long outside.
A footer (orange PETG) was screwed from underneath to the main holder. This footer may need to be adjustet or exchaned, therefore two parts. You may also print this footer and main holder in one, maybe different colors. Just put the main holder on top of the footer.
  3. Holder (hex pattern and main stand are glued together, the holder fits into the gap of the main stand. Give it a couple minuted to dry or cure, glue-wise.
  4. The insert rod I printed in PLA on MK4, standing upright, a decent brim would not hurt, the printing was excellent.
  5. Cam case and holder are revised Thingi parts. The holes of the cam case now fit small self-tapping screws (max. Ø2mm). Philips head, countersunk, 4mm short.
  6. A M3x20 (head button or cylinder) and selflocking nut secure the cam case to the adjustable rod.
  7. Finally you need two M4x10 and two T-nuts fitting the 3030 aluminum profile of your MK4. With this you securely attach the cam holder to the profile. Feel free to slide the whole holder to you preferred place.
