Been looking for a way to display my diecast collection with the help of 3D printers. Discovered IKEA Skadis boards and all the cool items made to be used with them. Been looking for some designs to print my own boards and I liked Asraff Amzani design the best. Reason is that when matching up boards together, they maintain slots between them so there is better use of the space. Regular IKEA Skadis boards when you install them next to each other are missing a row of slots. Even thou I love Asraff design, the look of all the boards together just did not look appealing. So I remixed the board into two designs. One with two smooth edges and a rounded corner and I remixed the board with one smooth edge. This way your boards that you print can have nice smooth edges for the ones you place on the outer edge of you display. Let me know what you think and show off your prints.
