This stand is made to accept another stand above it that will hold another 1x4 or 1x6 board.  

This is designed to have organic/tree support and the bottom slice is to ensure that it does not drop to the plate, but will not print.  I had to play with the overhangs a bit to get the infill of tree branches I wanted.  I wanted few where you may want more.  

To get it to work you will need to sink the stl so that the bottom layer is under the build plate.  

At the moment I lost my settings, but I think I remember they were

17% fill

20 degree branches

This means that the supports would also go around the bottom layer and up to the second.  I had to cut them off to accommodate the plank of wood to be inserted.
