Descrição
This model is the blandest design on Printables. However, it is useful to do a rapid test of the MMU2S multi-material unit.
The model has 6 layers. 5 cylinders and the letter P. The first cylinder is 0.4 mm tall while the others and the letter P are 0.3 mm high. Since the first layer is 0.2 mm high, each cylinder is divided into 3 layers of 0.1 mm. The first cylinder is printed using the first filament, the second cylinder is printed using the second filament, and so on. The letter is printed with the first filament.
The whole print thus forces 5 filament changes. F1 > F2, F2 > F3, F3 > F4, F4 > F5, and, at last, F5 > F1. At the end, the normal behavior is for the printer to unload F1 once the letter has been printed.
I am not sure why I put a P. P_rinter, P_rusa, P_hilippe? I have no idea. It seemed like the right choice when I was editing the model in Fusion 360...
I sliced the model for both PETG and PLA. All default Prusa Slicer settings except no loop. I am attaching the Fusion 360 file and the STL file as well.
As an aside, I had to do this model to troubleshoot my MMU2S. I could no longer print with Octoprint after a printer firmware upgrade. The documentation is excellent but, just in case, if your MMU does not work anymore,
1. Install the latest MMU firmware (with the USB cable plugged into the MMU unit!)
2. Factory reset the MMU

3. Recalibrate the filament length in you have a non-standard PTFE tube

4. As a last resort, go back to the previous printer firmware. This fixed it for me:
