This is my first cut at a bugle musical instrument. It makes a sound but not anything like what I hoped for. The mouthpiece is too large for the instrument, more like the size for a trombone or baritone, not right for a trumpet. I think the tube size inside is too small and restrictive and too long for the range I wanted. I should have dusted of my old cornet and studied it before starting this project. May still do that.

Anyway, I used PLA on my Ender3. To get it all printed I cut it into four sections to print separately and connected them with short connector tubes. I used 0.20 layer height with Cura Adaptive Layers, 195C nozzle temperature, and 55C bed temperature, with a minimum of support, standing on rafts.

I did everything in Fusion 360 except the connector tubes which used OpenSCAD. I need to learn Fusion better…
