We finally worn out our pro controller.. it drifts quite a bit.

Now we pretty much rely on 8bitdo sn30 pro+ and 8bitdo pro 2 controller for our switch.

Here are 2 set of print for mounting switch on top of 8bitdo SN30 Pro+ controller for handheld play

The vertical one is for when you prefer to put controller further from your face

Horizontal one is for lifting controller closer to your face.

These 2 pose creates different weight distribution scenario and different support arm length, hence I can't simply add a hinge and make them a single print.

Extra support were added to handle the weight of switch, avoid it spring too much during play.

Extra support also added to avoid the mount breaking from the controller charging port, which could had been a weak point due to lack of material.

You should be able to charge both controller and switch with a usb c cable that is not way too wide.

Print on the flat side down, use support for all overhang unless you are very sure about your printers bridging capability. There should be minimal support required when put in the correct orientation.

Use thick wide line when you can for better strength. If your printer require thick 1st layer line to adhere well, make sure clean up those squeeze out before mounting to avoid scratching your controller.

The clip is meant to held on tight, but with 2 thumb pressing down on the lower clip you should be able to undo it without too much issue.
