Modelo 3D 24 Hour Binary Clock por Vazzed en Printables

Descripción

If you want a stylish clock for your dresser that's challenging to read at a glance, this is the model for you. I designed it years ago because I'm a big fan of unique clocks.

A binary clock displays the time using binary notation, where each digit of the time is represented by a sequence of either on or off lights. The first digit represents hours, the second digit represents minutes, and the third digit represents seconds. Binary clocks are often used as a novelty item or to challenge one's ability to read binary notation.

To build this clock, you'll need:

  • 20 lamp shells
  • 20 LED plates
  • 1 enclosure
  • 1 lid

If the lamp shells don't fit, you can scale down the shell model in 1% increments in the slicer.

In addition, you'll need:

  • WS2812 LED strip with 20 LEDs
  •  an Arduino Nano or similar board with WiFi
  • Real-Time-Cock (only if your board dosn't support wifi)
  • 8 neodymium magnets (8x2 mm) for lid and enclosure
  • jumper cables
  • hot glue

The assembly is fairly straightforward, but if you have questions, feel free to ask in the comments.

Note: there is enough space if you want to add Buttons inside of the enclosure
