Synology only lets you lock the drive bays, but not the buttons. You can turn of the led lights, but if you child is very persistent, it will find the button anyway. I created a cap that hooks to the usb port of the NAS that sits on top of the power button and this prevents the child to press the button. It could remove the cap and then press it, lets see how it develops and if it needs some tuning.
