Keymod Rails Segments

These are keymod attachment rails for use with keymod RIS/RAS rails.

I have made several sizes to try and make as much usefull sizes as I could think of that are still compatible with the original keymod sizing. There are 3, 5, 7, 9, 13 and 17 spacing versions available.

My design uses the original sizing for the keymod nuts, but they have M3 nuts inserted into them for a much stronger grip.

This goes great with my keymod RAS rail design.

Notes:

Make sure your prints are strong because there are quite some forces on the rails when in use.

Mounting the rail

After removing the support from the keymod nuts you will have to place the M3 nut into the slots, they might be snug so using a pair of pliers or a vice is recommended.

After that, thread the screw partially through the rail segment and onto the keymod nut.ever so slightly engaging the thread of the M3 nut itself.

Then place your segment onto the rail as per usual and tighten down untill satisfied.
