Hi, this is a dice storage box, but also a box for you to use while you're playing DnD.

First; features!

Equipped with a magnet-activated switch this box seems to light up magically when you open it.

This is designed so that when the lid of the box is closed, none of your dice can fall out or shift position because the lid rests right on top of each of them.

Each die is independently backlit with LEDs, so it has the coolest effect when you use a transparent resin dice set.  (IT LOOKS AMAZING)

There is an opening beneath where the dice go where a small bag of extra dice can be stored. 

I also store my minis and roll dice in this box. (I like to glue a magnet to the bottom of each mini and glue a small strip of steel in the box so they don't tumble around in transport.)

In the side of the 3D printed tray there is a small slot for a reed switch - very cheap magnetic field switch from amazon. After connecting wires, you can feed the wires in the hole first, then hot glue it in position in the slot. 

Then wire all the LED lights in parallel. 

I placed a random 12v battery pack I had in the bottom of the box (24mm thick) and just set my false bottom on top of it.
