WARNING since last update X1 will heat up if there is a M3 command at the start of the G-code

Who never thought: what if my 3D printer was a  2D printer ?

All you need is a M6*40 bolt and a nut to go with it, simply put the nut in the captive slot and tighten around pens up to 18 mm in diameter.

However you will need to add a thermistor and ceramic heating element in the small holes designed for them(see examples in pictures). Because X1's have a thermal protection that cannot be turned off.

for better tolerances I recommend printing it in the same orientation as my picture in bambu studio. 

To install it just remove the printhead cover and unplug it remove your nozzle and slide the pen holder in its place. Fasten using the nozzles screws.

Homing of the printer works well with most pens.

I didn't test this model with a p1p as I don't have any available to try feel free to try !!! 

Please remember that using this model and executing plotting Gcode is not what the printer is made for, so it might led to damage of the machine.
