NOTE:    To print this model correctly, after importing the .stl into your slicer, you must split it into objects. If you don't, the slicer software will likely make the 0.1mm button part of the body, making separation impossible. The method for applying the "Split to Objects" function is similar in Prusa Slicer and Bambu Studio: Right-click on the imported object, select "Split" and then "Split to Objects;" then slice the model. Thanks to @kpsc_3804392 for pointing this out!

UPDATE 2025-12-03:     I made an "Extra-Lite" version that uses ~20% less filament than the Lite version. I also changed the bevel on the buttons from rounded to roughly a 45 degree bevel, to improve first layer printing. I replaced the original Lite version with this new design.

This is  gap or tolerance test to see how accurate a 3D printer can print holes with buttons inside them, but with varying differences between the outside diameter of the button and the inside diameter of the associated hole. This is a remix “lite” version of my original tolerance gap test .

See the original for very detailed information, measurements and specifications. This version uses 50% less filament because I removed half of the buttons ranging from .6mm to 1mm, leaving only the five buttons with gaps ranging from .1mm to .5mm (in total diameter difference). 

I made this lite version because from the various individuals who posted makes of the original design, and from my experience, most 3D printers are accurate enough that they easily can handle the wider gaps. Most printers ran into trouble on either the .3mm or .4mm gaps. So, there was little need for the wider gap buttons. The test can now be printed in ½ the time.
