No solder required for your macropad projects!

Designed to be used with 22 gauge solid core wire and printed with a 0.25 nozzle.

The sockets are small enough that they should fit into plate holes for easy removal and replacement of switches.

Strip about 2 cm of the wires and then insert the stripped ends into the lower holes.  «Thread» them into the higher switch pin holes (working with long nose pliers works best for this).  Cut the extra length of the wires using snippers.   It is not easy at first but you will get the hang of it.

I tested the model with blue NTE 22GA solid core wire.  The color should not have an impact but NTE is good quality wire with consistent and accurate diameter.  Cheaper wire may have a slightly smaller diameter and because this is a mechanical/pressure fit, the electrical connection may not be as good.

Those wire holes are small!  I printed my sockets with a 0.25 nozzle and 0.1mm layer height.  It will probably work with a 0.4 nozzle but I haven’t tested it yet.  If you try it, please let me know if it works or not and I will update the instruction.
