This is a coaster with the old norse stave, the Vegvísir, inscribed onto it.

It comes in two parts, for multi-material printing. Or, if you prefer, you can print just the stave itself, and insert a disc of leather or similar, as shown in the main image. The disc is 10 centimeters, give-or-take a millimeter.

It was originally designed for use with leather coasters, to protect them but also to add a little flavour to the plain coasters.

Print upside-down!

TIP: If printing the Vegvísir alone, you can sink the model below the build-plate so you don't print the lip on the bottom, which was meant for holding the leather disc.
