Modular drill-bit trays printed in vase mode for speed and reduced filament use. I printed these in vase mode using a 0.8mm nozzle, draft quality (0.32mm layer). Print with the extrusion down on the baseplate, this end then slots into the open end (at the top of the print) to extend the trays to your required length.

These trays can sit in low-profile drawers or in toolboxes without the height clearance for vertical storage of drill bits.

Print as many dividers as you require for your drill bits - they sit in the slots in the trays, and can be glued if you require more rigidity.

The table below lists dimensions, filament used and print time for a Crealty Ender 3v2 using a 0.8mm nozzle, draft (0.32mm) settings and vase mode (spiralized outer contour in Cura). The number in brackets under length includes the extrusion at the base of the print that will slot into the open end of the tray to link modules for the length you require. 

I found that I did not need to cap the final open end since the print was strong enough for the weight of the drill bits, but I have included an end piece among the files.
