During our gaming sessions I noticed some problems:

1. Cards laying flat on the table take up a lot of table space
2. Glossy cards reflect ceiling lamps
3. I had trouble reading the cards at that angle
4. Cards were not replaced when they were supposed to be refilled.

This simple stackable card stand minimizes table space, minimizes overhead glare, facilitates reading, and makes it evident when a card it missing when using a high contrast color.
