Descrição
A stack for the mini-sized Schiit components. This does not require any new screws and uses the rubber feet to hold components in place. I've provided files for a 2, 3, & 4-tall stack.
How does it attach?
This model uses the rubber feet to hold everything in place, and 2 of the original screws on the top component only so no need to buy additional hardware (since they are non-metric threaded).
- Pull out the rubber feet from the back corners
- Starting with the top component, remove the 2 back screws on the top and screw the mount on. (Some models don't have the top screw, so in that case, the rubber feet should hold it all in place).
- Press the rubber feet back in. This is kinda tough and may take a bit of wiggling them around, but make sure they are fully seated back in the holes.
- Continue working your way down the stack until you place all the components.
Which models does this fit?
This was designed and tested with the mini-size components:
- Headphone amps: Magni+, Vali
- DAC: Modi+ / Modi Multibit
- Preamps: Sys, Mani
- EQ: Loki.
I don't have the larger size components (Magnius, Valhalla, Modius, etc…) but it looks like it may work (the relevant dimensions are the height of the components (32mm + 3mm rubber stopper) and the spacing of the rubber feet from the corner, but I'm not sure if these are the same. If you try it on others, leave a comment. If the dimensions are different I'll upload new ones as well.
Printing tips
Print with the side faces (the larger face) down. I printed at 0.2mm with 20% triangle infill with PETG. Should be fine to make from PLA as well.
