Just say no to those messy drawers with old beat up baggie boxes!

Do you have a drawer full of mangled, old, cardboard bag boxes that just don't seem to fit or have just seen better days? Take a look at the photo on the left. That was our bag drawer for many years. My wife had removed the tops of the boxes because the drawers aren't tall enough to fit the full height of the box. What a pain!

Is yours this bad? Worse? That's ok, you‘re at the right place.

As Bob the Builder famously said, “Can We Fix It? Yes We Can!”

So here's the deal, I took it upon myself to provide you with a few helpful items to clean up that mess of a drawer! I've painstakingly created storage boxes to solve my storage bag organizational issues, how could I not share these boxes with the world?! The files to create all 3 versions of the boxes are available by clicking the ‘Files’ tab above. Hopefully they can bring order to your drawer of chaos as they've done mine. 

Print a set or 3. Make some and give as gifts for your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors… you name it, everyone could benefit from your newly found storage bag organization prowess.

Update 3/7/23: My wife has informed me that the Quart box DOES NOT fit ziploc brand quart-sized bags, so please measure before you print that one. I'll add a larger version once I have a bit of time. Sorry :\

One thing to note before printing…

Print the box/shell with the top down. You shouldn't need supports and you'll get a smooth/textured finish where it counts. Use a brim, my pieces warped a bit when I didn't.

Questions…

Q: Why is the lid on the bottom?
A: In testing, the lid on the top just didn't feel right. It came off at the wrong times and I just wasn't happy with it.  If you don't like it coming off, you could always superglue it in place.

Q: Where is the gallon-sized bag box?
A: I don't have a printer that can print a box that's about 11" in length. And we don't tend to keep the gallon-sized bags in the same drawer, so I honestly didn't have the need.
