This rectangular loop is 48mm inside by 66mm outside on the long axis and 34mm outside and 16mm inside on the short axis and it is 9mm thick.
If you re-size it smaller, you will have to use a smaller heat-set insert and screw as the wall thickness will not be enough to support an M3.
