3D model Fidget Controller by Owen on Printables

Description

Materials

If you for some reason want to do this you will need to purchase 6x6x5 tactile push buttons as well as super glue

Print Settings

I didn't use any sort of supports. This means that the to piece may be a bit messy near the hole for the joystick. Just pull those strings off. you also may need to scrape away to widen the whole where the buttons go. I did this using a pocket knife. I printed the top piece at 20% infill so that is wasn't as fragile. I also enabled ironing so that the top of the joystick was smooth.

Assembly

  1. Super glue the tactile buttons into place.
  1. Fit the printed buttons into the holes and apply a drop of super glue to the bottom of each
  2. Turn everything upside-down so that you can press the two halves of thing together without the buttons falling out.
  3. You may then flip it right side, make sure the 3D printed button pieces are pressed against the tactile buttons and remove the top. Let the glue dry.
  4. Put super glue along the rim of the bottom piece and line them up and press them together.
  5. Let that dry and voila.
