Test your Inserts

This object was created to experiance my first heatset inserts in 3D-printed designs. Since i just started using these in my designs, i wanted to know how i have to design the holes for the inserts to get the best performance out of them.

STL-Printinstructions:

In order to Print this propperly and get everything set up correctly, you will have to add some modifiers, all Values are written on the top surface. This way you can adjust the modifiers in your Slicer accordingly.

If you do not want to play around with different amounts of walls and modifieres i reccomend printig this with 4 better 5 perimeters. This way the inserts experiance the same environment as if you use them in a real applikation.

Conclusion

It turned out for me that i habe to increase the diameter of the holes slightly to get a propper fit of the inserts. Let me know if you need more variations.
