We used to swear by Hatchbox but a few years ago they had some major issues keeping it in stock so we found Overture fit the bill and has been consistently in stock. We also appreciate the cardboard spools and boxes. 

Instead of throwing them away, we started using the boxes as general storage and to keep small projects together. After playing what felt like 1x1 jenga every time I wanted to get one out of the stack, I thought of this solution. 

I have increased the depth by 10mm from the one pictured. It should help hold them a bit better with heavier stuff, but it will not likely hold a spool of filament.
