Ames Window is an optical illusion. When the window rotates around on a string, it appears to oscillate side to side. for more info on how it works check out the video below.

I decided to make this after watching this Veritasium video:

I couldn't find one online so i made this just to play around with. I drilled a hole and tied some thread hung from the ceiling in the shop.

*must be printed with supports. 

*2 colour changes but one must be the same as the other to make it work. (example: white-orange-white.)

If you try this, just make sure the lighting is good (try to avoid shadows)
