The soil block maker consists of three parts: a base with the dibbler, a sleeve to form the block and a tamper to compress the soil mixture.

Four sizes are available: 1", 1 ½", 2", and 3".

Each size supports a variety of dibblers:

• A ½" square with depths of 1/8", 1/4", and 1/2"
• A 1" cube for potting up.

The Fusion360 model is provided to generate sizes that are not listed.

Printing Guidelines

The model has been optimized for a .6mm nozzle with a .84mm extrusion width. It prints well with .3mm layers.

No supports with minimal (10-15%) infill.

Instructions For Use

• Place the base on a flat surface with the dibbler facing up.
• Place the sleeve on the base.
• Fill the sleeve all the way to the top with an appropriate damp soil mixture.
• Compress the soil with the tamper until you see water oozing out the bottom.
• Invert the entire assembly and gently squeeze again.
• Position the block maker tamper side down on a flat surface.
• Gently remove the dibbler to expose the top of the block.
• Slide the sleeve all the way down to expose the entire block and transfer to a tray.

My Soil Mix Recipe

• 4 parts Fox Farm Bush Doctor Coco Loco Potting Mix (¼" screened)
• 1 ½ parts coco coir
• ½ part green sand fertilizer
• 2-3 parts water
• Cinnamon
• Granular mycorrhizal
