Most ceiling fan/light combos use the candelabra bulb fitting. I wanted to use those color changing smart bulbs. But they only come in the standard large base. So, I bought the adapter. But now the original globe no longer fits since the bulb is too big and protrudes beyond the depth of the globe.
Solution was to design a new shade or globe to fit the fan and accommodate the bulb. Looks more modern also.
Print with the small side down to reduce amount of supports needed for the collar that the retaining screws need to engage.
