Description
Print without supports.
Required:
- 20mm conduit 200-300mm long
- 3mm carbon fibre tube or similar.
- Reprap Endstop limit switch
- 2x M3x12 screws.
The flag and float need to be assembled with CA glue, make sure you have it through the body first!
Test and find the level and mark the outside tube. Wrap a piece of 1mm soldering wire around the carbon tube at the float end to add weight to have it reset reliably. (I use about 150mm)
We use these in clay pellet flood & drain systems where the nutrient is pumped into the bottom of the pot until the switch is made, and then allowed to drain back through the pump into the holding tank.
Glue a piece of clear filament though the hole, make a nik in the centre as a lightpipe.
