- redesigned perch to install with a single screw
- created template to mark hole to remove material with a dremel
- added an installation brace which makes building the tube easier
- added a chamfer to the top for easier tube install

5/6/23 - Update: These have worked great! I've had these in our yard now for six months. Lots of birds visit. Some seeds to get knocked out and on to the ground. This is fine in that I get ground feeder birds and also squirrels to clean them up.

This is a squirrel resistant bird feeder that uses both 3d printed parts, a piece of polycarbonate roofing from Home Depot and some hardware.

Hardware used:
(5) 10mm M4 screws
(12) 10mm M3 screws
(2) 25mm M3 screws
(6) M3 nylock nuts
(6) 12x3mm rare earth magnets
PETG filament
Polycarbonate roofing piece

Using an 18" tall piece of polycarbonate, this feeder will hold roughly 4 lbs of black oil sunflower seed.

All parts print without supports. PETG or ASA would work nicely to deal with sun exposure. 

Default PETG slicer settings work except for two pieces. The small top cap wire mount piece and the three magnet holders got 5 perimeters.
