It allows three M4 nuts to be embedded in the case to facilitate mounting with M4 machine screws and (optional) mount adapters

M4 x 8mm button head screws work nicely with this case mod and the mount adapters above.

Obtain the top portion of the case from one of the links above.

This mod increases the thickness of case by approx 3.4mm. I don't know whether this prevents its use with the OpenMV display shield when unmounted, but it seems likely.

This mod reduces the available area of the vent slots. Flush mounting or flush mounted adapters may completely cover the vent slots. I don't know whether this is significant. Spacers and longer screws could be used to attempt to mitigate this if desired.

This mod is based on a close, but not exact, copy of the original .stl. The mounting tabs were made slightly more prominent with the intention of working better when printed in PETG. I do not know whether they may be too prominent for PLA prints. My test prints mate satisfactorily when both top and modified bottom are printed in PETG.

A .step file has been provided to allow for any necessary tweaking.
