How I Designed This===================

The new part does not have the ratchetting ability, rather uses friction to hold the metal tongue of the speaker pods from sliding. This was necessary for me as I lost the nylon ratchet spring clip. My melon is big enough that I always have the pods fully extended anyway.

Part hyperX-shell-inner-v2a is the same as hyperX-shell-inner-v2 except the screw hole is plugged by a thin, solid layer to produce a better shoulder for the screw head. Drill out the hole with a 7/64" bit.

If you have lost any of the screws (I had one fly away into oblivion), you can also use an M3 x 8mm or 10mm socket cap screw.
