Cheap and easy LED Hex wall lighting.
Each Hex side has a pre-perforated slot that can be easily removed allowing the LED strip to flow from one Hex to the next. I have 23 Hex's and ran just shy of 2x 5m LED Strips (300 LEDS).
I glued the Hex's together with hot glue and used polystyrene plates for the light diffusers, which I think works perfectly, hot glued at a couple of corners to hold them in place.
The control box is large enough for an ESP8266. I drilled a hole in the bottom edge to also attached a 5v barrel connector for power.
I used three clips spread out across the installation and 3x large 3M command hanging strips to fix to the wall.
Its delicate, but been on the wall for a few months now and still looks great.
