I use Zack Freedman's gridfinity storage especially the windowed bins and although being able to stack them is good if I want an item from anything but the top bin, I have to move everything above the one I want, so I created a stacking system for them. Each bin can be removed without disturbing the ones above or below. I made the plates 4x2 my intention was to stand the rack on a turn table so I could have easy access to both sides. 

I have left a 3.2mm hole running through all supports and plates to accept a 3mm rods (1 in each corner) if you want to add additional rigidity to the storage 

have added a base plate that will accept brass inserts for 3mm threaded rod if you want to tie everything together  

Added a 1x2 version same system
