The third (and final?) iteration of the mailbox indicator. This design is two parts that snap fit together to introduce a swivel motion. By changing the shape of the device from the original, it now works on either side of the mailbox. By adding a 3rd dimension flag, you can now easily see if you've got mail from down the driveway. I added red retroreflective sticker material into the flag and also a circle sticker that goes on the mailbox that becomes visible when the indicator swings down. I printed both parts on my Makerbot Replicator using black PLA at 0.3mm layer heights, 3 perimeters, 25% infill, no supports.
