Update: added v2 brackets

• thinner mounting side, height reduces to 20mm
• thicker walls
• light switch mounted horizontally
• added ribs to strengthen the brackets

These are brackets for a led light bar mounted on top of the Ender 3 printer frame. The brackets fit to the side of the top frame, have a rocker switch to turn the light on and off.
I've connected mine to the printer power supply. Make sure you either have 24V led strips or you connect 2 12V led strips in series, (or use a dc-dc convertor).

I've printed mine in PETG on a Ender 3 v2.

Things you need for the assembly

• The 2 brackets, left and right
• Rocker switch, (19mm x 12mm )
• 18 mm aluminum led strip channel, 325mm length
• 24 led strip, approx. 300mm length (or 2 x 12v strips connected in series)
• 24awg wire
• spade connectors for the power supply
• I also used a small 2 pin molex connection near the light bar for serviceability
• 2 x M4 20mm screws

TODO: while the design works as is, there's a few things that can be improved (maybe another afternoon to redesign)

• add ribs top the cut-off channel to improve strength
• make sidewalls thicker, the top wall is only 1mm thick and feels a bit thin
• see if rocker switch can be mounted horizontally to reduce the side footprint
• add a few more fillets and roundovers to improve strength
