Rifle Sighting Front Rest

This is a Sighting-in rifle rest that I made for my Savage Model 64 22LR caliber. The fore-stock sits in the yoke very nicely. The drawing PDF file has the assembly details. The feet I used in the pictures were re-used from an old clothes washing machine that I had salvaged for parts.

I have added parts with just a flange with bolt/screw holes instead of a yoke. This now allows to make custom mounting options. Just carve a piece of wood to the required shape, add some padding, & screw/bolt on. Center to center between holes is 2.5 inch.

Notes:

For the elevation height adjustment nut & lock nut there is a small clearance tolerance factored into the design, but you may chose to scale the parts up by 0.5% or 1% on the X & Y axis to ensure a loose fit on the threads.

The only place you need supports is in the Hex pockets for the nuts inserted in to the end of the legs.

I typically print with 3 loops on the outer perimeter shell and 3 fill layers for my top & bottom surfaces.
