Descripción
This is a spin stabilized rocket. It also uses spin recovery, so no chute or streamer necessary. Using an A-10-OT motor will keep altitude down to less than about 80 meters.
I printed this in PLA on the Prusa Mk3S+. Other materials like PETG should work as well.
I used Prusa Slicer. Use the default Speed .2 mm layer height with 215/60 hotend/build plate temps. No supports are needed. Let me know if you try any other settings and what you get for results.
All parts will fit the build plate at once. Print 5 of the leg/fin part.
Once you print the parts, you should be able to slip the top plate onto the nose cone (grooves face down) and glue (medium CA) the nose cone to the body. Pay attention to the launch rod hole alignment. Now you can apply glue to the leg/fin parts and slide them into the grooves on the top and bottom plates. Done.
The clearance for the motor is intentionally loose to allow a tape wrap friction fit. This should reduce heat transfer to the rocket body tube.
Added: gcode for Prusament PETG.
