Descrição
This is quite an over-engineered tool holder, made to be mounted on a wall, as any other tool holder. But this one is self-clamping, using not less than 12 parts. And all of them are designed to be 3D printed - even the spiral springs…
However, the "grip" part on each claw is made with a SLA printer, using Prusa flexible resin. Flexible filament can be used as well. It's way more effective than hard plastic. But everything else is made of PLA.
Notes :
- Tiny indentations on the parts indicate the left sided ones.
- Everything is assembled without gluing anything (thanks to snap joints and hex keys), but the claws. They're glued to the axis with a touch of cyanoacrylate, at the end of the assembly (it's easier that way).
- 0.2mm layers are fine
- Assembly and tool holder in action videos are available on my Instagram account @cask_tools
