The Chameleon rocket is a fun model rocket that features a unique thermochromic ABS plastic. The heat generated from the motor will change the color of the rocket during the launch. This rocket was designed and prototyped for use with Estes 18mm C6-3, C6-5 and C5-3 motors, and Estes 1/8" rod launch pad. The rocket is 34mm in diameter, it has a total length of 21.5", it weighs 100 grams with the motor installed, and it will fly 600+ feet. It is 3D printed in ABS plastic and it is made up of 5 parts; the nose cone, the body tube assembly, the base fins, and the motor cap. For reference I included an image of the Open Rocket design file. 

Assembly: Test fit parts before assembly, make any adjustments needed with sand paper. Install shock cord on Lower Tube Mount. Glue Lower Tube to Upper Tube. Glue Tube assembly to Base Fins. Attach the shock cord to Nose Cone base, and then add the parachute.
