OCTIX is a block and stick construction toy. The basic blocks and connections are octagons. The sticks come in 50, 70, 100, and 140 mm [multiples of 2 and sqrt(2)] since assembly is always at multiples of 45 degree angles.

Print instructions

The included project file contains all the items needed for a basic starter set. The set was developed and tested using:

• MK3S
• Powder Coated Print Sheet
• Prusament PLA
• Standard settings 0.2mm Quality PRUSA Slicer

I had no issues with adhesion. On three print runs I have lost only one stick. If you have problems with adhesion I recommend that you thoroughly wash your print sheet with dish soap and warm water. If this does not solve the problem then add a brim.

It may be helpful to set the "Elephant Foot" setting to 0.4 in your Printer settings as well although I have not had any issues with fit.
