My local castle celebrates it's 300th anniversary this year, so I decided to create a model of main castle building(s).
The model consists of 384 separate parts and they all fit nicely together when printed.
The scale is 1:160 (which coincidentally is the same as model train scale N). The largest part is the main roof and it fits on a Prusa MK/3s (just leave out the perimiter).
The windows are the worst bits. Print flat and use the layers to print different colours. I used transparent (window pane), white (frame) and grey for the outside ornamental frame.
I highly recommend using a .2 mm nozzle and layer height .10 for the windows.
I include the Blender file for those interested. Be aware that ONLY the supplied STL files are guarantied to be manifold.
The model is not 100% correct. I have left out some insignificant parts on purpose, and some parts are based on guesswork. It has also been nessessary to simplify some parts of the design. Building a model like this based on public tourist pictures and some promotional pictures from their website has been quite a challenge, and it was never my intention to make a perfect replica.
The two triangular buildings on the front are the starts of the Octagon, which are surrounding building that forms the main court yard. They are significantly different architecture from the main castle, so I left them out.
Similarly I left out the side buildings leading out on the east side. The funny rounded building on the east side of the castle is the "entry part" of those buildings.
Use it for whatever purpose you like, but I'd love to be attributed for my work.

Notes:
IMPORTANT NOTE: When the file name refer to south, east etc. think of the main entrance and know that it is facing south.
The names for the windows STLs also have a number indicating how many you will need to print.
The wall lamps were printed in transparent filament and painted.
It is a good idea to get the slicer to devide the lamp model in two identical halves and glue them together.
Windows need support from buildplate and some layer magic to print in different colours. Painting them by hand is tedious and frought with possibility for errors.
Post-Printing
In a few places you need to sand or adapt, but I have tried to make sure to create the part sizes, so they fit in their supposed place.
Just ordinary cleanup is needed of spiderweb and nozzle lift bumps.
