Note: I created the Sock Blocker V2, an improved version of this model. If you have not printed any parts yet, I suggest to start with the newer model. The two versions are NOT compatible.

The Sock Blocker has a replaceable tip for adjusting the size. The tip is attached by a snapping mechanism that can be released by hand. There are versions for EU sizes 37-38, 38-39, 39-40, 41-42, 43-44, and 45-46.

The main part can be printed on a 25 x 21 cm area (Prusa i3) when rotated by 5°. The snapping mechanism was designed for a layer height of 0.2 mm, it may not work properly when printing with a different layer height.

Suggested equipment, material, and settings

• Nozzle: 0.4 mm
• Material: PLA
• Layer height: 0.2 mm
• Infill density: 15%
• Different color for last two layers (for readability of numbers)
