Descrição
A simple, easy to print sushi former for full-size nori sheets. I've tested it in PLA and PET. PET is my preference.
The rod's handle or face can be used to press into the sushi rice on each side to make space for centered fillings. The cap is to give you a solid stand to pack sushi with the rod and/or hold the roll while you pull out your nori sheet and get it ready. Push-rod can be used to extrude sushi onto nori or, with some plastic wrap or a very light coat of oil, you can just drop the roll out onto the sheet.
Easy to clean, stores compactly, and you can hold it in one hand or place it on the counter while filling with rice and filling.
This is the second item I've designed (FreeCAD, baby) and also the second thing I've printed! Tell me what you think.
Print instructions
Print vertical orientation with all supports. On PLA, I used PrusaSlicer's Prusament and standard settings on 0.15mm. PETG I bumped to 240 extruder for all layers and 90 degrees on the bed, also printed at 0.15mm.
