Bumpercase style protector for an acrylic display of periodic table elements.

The front and rear frames can be fastern by the 4 corner bumprs and can be secured with M3 x 20mm hex socket head cap screws and nuts. 

It is designed for the acyrlic display of size 6 inch x 4.5 inch x 0.8 inch.

Background

My son received the periodic table element sample display from his grandpa as a gift.

The acrylic case looks really nice but delicate, and I'd hate to have its corners crack.
However I also wanted to encourage the 8-year-old to keep it handy and inspect the display when he wants, so decided to put a protector for that.
