On my bike, the part of the downtube where the water bottle holder and pump bracket bolt to is wide and flat. It doesn't have any curvature at all. The bracket that came with my mini pump assumes some curvature, and didn't offset the pump enough to clear the frame.

I have a 2017 Trek Domane, but any bike with a flat-back downtube profile would have similar issues.

So this is the modified pump bracket to support my minipump. The bracket has a 9mm internal diameter, which fits my pump.
