Note: the model should be oriented for printing so that it sits on the print bed the same as if it was sitting on your desk during use. This should result in minimal support material being needed.

This Steam Deck Dock is meant just for charging; it holds the Steam Deck upside down (so that the USB-C port is face down) and has a slot that the USB-C plug provided by steam will slot in to such that the Deck is plugged in while in the Dock. The air vents are not obstructed so it can breath if the Deck is still running, but the screen is obstructed (and upside down) so this is not intended to hold and charge the unit while in use. It uses the plastic bumps at the base of the joysticks to line the Deck up with the USB-C charger. 

The dimensions are such that it should fit on a standard Ender 3 or Prusa I3, but there is a split version of the model that works just fine as well. 

V2 change: 

No more Ziptie! Now there is retaining geometry that pinches the wire to prevent it from coming out with the Steam Deck, and make it so the cable isn't essentially permanently installed, so you could pull it out and use the cable for wired-play again. 

Also I incorporated the Light Pipe geometry from the Quick Dock so that you can see if the Deck is all the way plugged in, and if it is done charging. you will need a laser cutter and 1/8" acrylic to add the light pipe, I have not printed the light pipe geometry out of clear resin but i do not expect that to work as well (i have included that STL anyways) I have included “…_No-LightPipe” versions of the files for if you don't want the light pipe hole in the front of the Dock as well. 

There is now a Split A/B version of V2 that is only ~100mm long that should be able to be printed on most other 3d printers like the Prusa mini. it included registration features to help with alignment when gluing up the parts and should add a marginal amount of strength. You will need to add supports to the Split version since it has overhangs instead of bridges. 

Note: …V2_Split_A is the same for the LightPipe and No_lightPipe version of the Charging Dock. If you don't want the light pipe hole AND you want to print the split version, print the V2_Split_A and V2_Split_B_No-LightPipe.
