My biggest issue with last meter prints is how many ‘last meters’ you end up having. 

I myself have hundreds of meters in filament in 10 or less meter segments, I have printed out fidget toys and zip ties and knobs and trinkets. Each one you can print out once or twice but after that the use is limited. 

Start with one brick the more you print, the more last meters you get the more bricks you have to build with! More blocks can be made to expand the system.
