I wanted a microscope adaptor that did not require me to take my iPhone 6 out of its case. I use the newer version of the Luvvit case sold on Amazon as "iPhone 6 Case, LUVVITT® ULTRA ARMOR iPhone 6 Case [NEW IMPROVED DESIGN]." Note that the earlier version of this case was ~1mm shorter and less wide and so will not work.

It is fits my Nikon microscope that has a 40mm diameter on the outside of the eyepiece.
