A simple Joint setup for a modern Plantstand.
The design is built for 1.5in diameter but the attached FreeCAD files can be adjusted for your needs.
You will need a few simple wood screws and you have to be able to cut the middle pieces to fit them in a cross (I used a circular table saw and it was quite easy to do)
