This is a 3D-printable window position limiter (stay catch) designed to securely lock a house window in an open or slightly open position. It prevents the window from slamming shut or swinging wide open due to drafts and wind.

The mechanism utilizes a spring-loaded metal pin (plunger) that slots into a track/receiver block to hold the window firmly in place.

Hardware Required:

• 1x Metal pin/bolt (approx. diameter and length can be specified by you, e.g., M5/M6 pin)

• 1x Compression spring

• 2x Small screws for mounting the base plate

Printing Instructions:

• Material: PETG or ASA/ABS recommended for durability and UV resistance (if exposed to direct sunlight). PLA can be used for indoor/shaded windows.

• Infill: 30%–40% (Gyroid or Grid for mechanical strength).

• Walls/Perimeters: 3 or 4 lines to ensure the mounting tabs and pin housing don't snap under tension.

• Supports: Needed only for the main body overhang where the spring pin goes through (depending on your print orientation).
